On October 17, 2017, Urban Development Union of Countries along the Belt and Road Route was officially approved to be founded, coincident with the opening of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The special day and the special moment represent the obligation, mission and implementation that come with it. Urban Development Union of Countries along the Belt and Road Route provide investment, financing support and resources interconnection as well as setting up an platform for integrated cooperation incorporating development, construction and comprehensive operation for the cities of countries along the Belt and Road Route in infrastructure construction, urban development, energy exploitation, capacity cooperation, and residential project construction.

Urban Development Union of Countries along the Belt and Road Route (UOBR) provides investment, financing and resource docking support for a series of industrial capacity cooperation projects including infrastructure construction, urban development, urban construction, energy development, industrial clusters, housing projects, import and export trade, etc. To build an international public platform for integrated cooperation in development, construction, construction and comprehensive operation among countries along the Belt and Road. We will provide the governments of countries along the Belt and Road with a national governance system plan that can be discussed, to built and shared by all, to build a community with a shared future for mankind, to achieve common prosperity and prosperity, and to build a better life together.

Urban Development Union of Countries along the Belt and Road Route was set up pursuant to the Silk Road spirits characterized by consultation, co-building and sharing, with the focus on playing a driving role in urban development of countries along the Belt and Road Route. It is a social organization, of which the top designs and high-end plan are offered by Tsinghua University, Peking University, National Strategic Research Center, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, National People's Think Tank，and other China’s governmental departments. Currently, there are more than 20,000 members of the alliance, of which 5% are Chinese central enterprises, 15% are state-owned and local private enterprises, and the rest are production enterprises, science and technology enterprises, manufacturing enterprises and processing enterprises from countries along the Belt and Road. Urban Development Union of Countries along the Belt and Road Route main contacts are ruling parties, militaries, police, congresses, religious groups, social groups and influential party organizations of countries along the Belt and Road Route.

"UOBR" has received strong support from China Development Bank, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Agricultural Development Bank of China, Silk Road Investment Fund and other financial institutions.

"UOBR" has established joint construction intention with 165 countries along the Belt and Road, established project implementation plans with 78 countries, and confirmed the implementation of projects with 16 countries.

"UOBR" mainly interacts with the ruling parties of countries along the Belt and Road, major state leaders, military forces, police, parliaments, religious groups, social groups and influential political parties.
